Something new is cookin’ at this year’s Midtown Village Fall Festival! Smokin’ Betty’s will debut a new beer garden this Saturday, October 6, 2012, from 12:00pm to 8:00pm on the block of St. James Place between 12 and 13th streets. The grills will be fired up for a specially priced menu featuring BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches and BBQ Combos (wings and ribs) for $5.00. Free red velvet cupcakes will reward the early birds, while supplies last. These American classics will be paired with seasonal brews from Brooklyn Brewery (Post Road Pumpkin Ale and Lager), Evil Genius Brewing Company (Trick or Treat Chocolate Pumpkin Porter and Hunchback Hefeweizen), Saranac Brewing Company (Pumpkin Ale and White IPA) and Yards Brewing Company (Extra Special Ale and India Pale Ale). Wear your fall finest denim and plaid for a chance to win prizes and be featured on “Smokin Betty’s” Facebook page.
After Fall Festival is over, head from pumpkin patch to the dining room. Enjoy dinner or a fall cocktail at Smokin’ Betty’s main location at 116 S. 11th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
