As the cooler days of fall set in, Smokin’ Betty’s (located at the northwest corner of 11th and Sansom streets ) adds hearty fare and seasonally-inspired libations to keep things warm and cozy. Executive Chef Artt Ward continues to push the envelope of “comfort food” by preparing three new lunch and dinner plates that would truly make your Mama proud. In the bar, Mama toasts Ward’s new classics with three house crafted cocktails that join an already robust beverage menu.
Additions to the daily lunch and dinner menu include:
- Roasted Turkey Platter features carved turkey breast, southern style gravy, homemade cranberry sauce, classic stuffing and whipped sweet potatoes
- Marinated Grilled Vegetable Risotto with parmesan cheese, balsamic reduction and pesto drizzle
- Braised Short Rib served with creamy cheddar polenta, red wine sauce and green beans
Cocktails joining the drink menu include:
- Gin-ger Appletini – Gilby’s gin, apple juice, ginger beer and cinnamon apples
- Artt Ward 8 – Jameson, orange juice, fresh lemon and grenadine
- Bittersweet – Absolut Citron, Rhuby liquor, orange marmalade, fresh lemon and bitters
Existing Betty’s classics that will also warm up a crisp day include the famous Tur-Duck-En Burger with homemade stuffing and hearty homemade chili with cornbread.
